Samika's POV
I get a call from an unknown number while I am talking to Alyssa and Timothy. Nyle is having a shower and Lavender is still sleeping. A nurse did a follow up check up kind of thing and told us that the baby's vitals are getting better which is a good thing.
"Hello?" I speak as soon as I answer the call.
"Hey. Is this Samika?" I hear a somewhat familiar voice. I don't know where I heard this but I think I heard this.
"Yes, it's Samika. Who is-"
"Thank God! It took me a while to get this. By the way, hey! It's Eric" he says and I just laughed at the way he just cut me off.
"How did you find it then?" I ask him, smiling already.
"Don't get me started. I knew people who knew people who work for your dad and it's another long story. Anyways, Nia wanted me to thank you
