Samika's POV
"Jasper! Jasper, No!" I almost scream, quickly run behind him to catch but his strides are long and powerful. But he fiddles with the door knob for a moment and I use it to grab a hold of him.
"Jasper, look at me" I say and he finally looks at me.
It feels different yet nice to talk to Nyle with darker brown eyes. I rub the pad of my thumb on his cheek like he usually likes when I do. And I notice him leaning more to my touch.
"Not now," I whisper and he opens his eyes to look at me.
"Not now" I say again and I slowly watch Nyle's dark brown eyes turn a shade lighter.
I smile at Nyle but he is not smiling back. But I just hug him, with my head against his chest and he hugs me back. I pull him even closer and feel his chest vibrate with a chuckle.
