Samika's POV
"Thank you so much for letting me stay and work here" Sarah says as she slowly grows teary eyed.
"And I am even more thankful for being like a family to her. Because her own family doesn't care about her and no one on this planet deserves a family like that. She already went through a lot, Mr. Foster. It makes me happy that you take good care of her and that she could always count on you" Sarah says and she doesn't even blink back her tears this time.
"She has a family, Sarah. And that's me. I am not going to let her walk through another rough path alone. I can assure you that" Brent tells me as he pulls me in for another hug.
I didn't plan on crying, but I couldn't stop it either. Tears kept flowing and eventually, Sarah and I held each other and cried a river.
