Samika's POV
I wake up when it is starting to get a little warmer than I am used to. I open my eyes to see a deer staring at me from a close distance. I have never seen a deer this close and that too when it is staring right at me , standing right outside the tent.
I would have screamed if it was a wild animal, but the deer then proceeded to run a little further and eat the stems of the small bushes there. I smile on such a morning and try turning around.
But the weight of Nyle's arm is on me and I smile a little more than earlier. Although nothing happened last night, I am still content.
