EDWARD WILLIAMS
I put down the tray on the coffee table and went to her. She looks frightened.
“I didn’t mean to scare you, are you okay?” I pick up the keys and hug her before I kiss her.
“I am fine. I, uhm… I wasn’t expecting you to be here,” She mutters.
I hold her hand, leading her to the couch, and sit down.
“Sorry. I found myself missing you and I thought I should come here and be with my woman. I prepared dinner,” She gasps.
“It looks nice. Did you cook it?” She grabs a piece of meatball from the plate and takes a bite.
“I did,” She chokes before she bursts into a laugh. She covers her mouth with her hand, and I notice that she is wearing something that she was not wearing earlier this morning. I'll ask her about it after eating our early supper.
