I rushed out of Hailey’s to my car and as soon as I was in it, I lost it. I broke down and started punching f**k out of the steering wheel. I hate that I had to do that to her, but I never had a choice it was safer that way...safer for her. I felt my heart-breaking as I said those things to her. I never meant any of them and the look in her eyes is gonna haunt me for the rest of my life. I was the one that was meant to protect her not destroy her and break her heart. I leant my head on the steering wheel and for the first time since I was a kid I cried. I got pulled out of thought with my phone ringing.
