  When Nancy showed up at the Tide Pack with her luggage, it was already nighttime.   The whole neighborhood was eerily quiet. She stood calmly at the front gate, looking totally unbothered.   The house in front of her was lit up, its cream-colored walls soft under the glow, covered with thick vines that curled up the surface. From where she stood, she could clearly see the small courtyard behind the fence, filled with all kinds of flowers.   She raised an eyebrow, a bit surprised—she always thought Matthias was the flashy type.   She rang the doorbell.
