  Over the next two days, the Maple Pack faced back-to-back ambushes from the Cheetah Pack.   Even with the enemy suffering heavy losses, their own deltas were in bad shape too.   To make things worse, those rogue wolves kept poking around, turning it into the messiest fight Theodore had ever been in.   At the edge of the territory, Theodore leaned against a table, breathing heavily. His clothes were ripped in several places, a piece of cloth messily wrapped around his arm soaked in blood.
