I went downstairs later to have dinner with my mate. No matter how much we argued about Isabella, I still couldn't take my mind off Kaelan.
I gazed into his eyes as we ate. His expression was unreadable. I forked out a chunk of roasted chicken and tried to feed him. He gazed at me for a while before he reluctantly opened his mouth.
As I put the chicken in his mouth, I gave him a warm smile. We were sitting opposite each other and I had to strain my hand to feed him. He was my Alpha and I would let no one come between us.
