I was still sitting on the bathroom floor when Beauty walked in. She took one look at me and knitted in-between her brows.
"Luna, the Alpha told me to come and check on you when he was leaving," she said, closing the door behind her. "He commanded me to stay with you and keep you company until he's back."
I scoffed, rubbing my temple. "Keep me company indeed. He's afraid that I will disobey him and show up at the battlefield."
"Oh, you seem to know your mate all too well.” Beauty folded her arms, and took a thorough look at me. “But you don't look too well this morning. Are you okay?”
I rolled my eyes and slowly got up from the floor. "I’m fine, Beauty. Just tired."
She looked at my pale face, and I could see she was doing mental calculatio
