CHAPTER 89: INTERCEPTING THE WEAPONS KAELAN: I took the map from Owen and spread it across the table in my office. It was a web of lines and symbols marking the Serpent’s Coil’s transport route. Owen traced a finger along the dotted line, as his eyes focused on the map. “They’re moving tonight, Alpha. They have three trucks that are heavily guarded. We’ve confirmed the cargo: crates marked ‘industrial equipment,’ but our contact swears it’s the weapons.” “‘Industrial equipment,’” I said, and chuckled dryly. “They're clever. Where’s the intercept point?” “Here,” Owen said, tapping a point on the map. “The old quarry, about halfway between their warehouse and Zeus’s rendezvous. It’s isolated, a natural choke point. If we time it right, we can hit them before they reach the main road.”
