CHAPTER 146: DUNCAN IS DEAD

When we left the clinic, Kaelan decided to go to the library to check things out. He was going through some reports when Owen knocked.
“Come in,” he responded impatiently.
Owen walked in with hesitant steps. “Alpha, Duncan request an audience with you.”
Kaelan closed the file in his desk and turned to him. “Is this some kind of a joke? Do you really think I'm jobless? You should know the rules, Owen. I don't go about entertaining wolves from the dungeon.”
Owen bowed. “I'm sorry, Alpha.” And then left the room.
We spent a few more minutes in the library and then went upstairs.
