Evan left Leah and I standing alone as he went back in to join the other Alphas in celebrating the mating ritual.
“Don't worry, he'll come to realise how special you are soon enough,” I said soothingly as I tapped her shoulder.
Leah nodded and said nothing. We went back inside and I kept her by my side for the rest of the evening.
Kaelan didn't give me any attention today, probably because he was engrossed in making sure that everything went smoothly. Being mated to an Alpha comes with it's own bad side.
