“Let's return to our chambers,” Kaelan said. “I'm bored here.”
“But I'm here with you, how can you be bored?” I said, pouting a little.
Kaelan grinned and stood up from the bed. He took my hand and lifted me from the sofa.
We returned to the pack house in the evening after Kaelan had rested enough. I made venison for both of us. These days, I prefared to cook our food by myself.
