I was so pissed with Kaelan’s sudden change of attitude towards me. I can hardly believe this was the same Kaelan I had married.
He claims to still be here when actually he isn't.
As I stormed out of the bedroom in anger, I expected him to catch my arm, pull me to himself and show me that he was still here but he didn't.
My chest heaved with frustration as I hurried off. I wasn’t even sure where I was going, but I needed to get away from him. Away from the coldness in his eyes. Away from the emptiness that had replaced the man I loved.
