CHAPTER 111: I WANT TO GO BACK
EVERLY:
I woke up in the morning and wondered why I felt so warm. I tried to turn but felt a strong arm wrapped around my waist. And his warm breath was steady on my neck.
Kaelan.
I blinked several times as I tried to remember how he ended up wrapped around me in bed. Then the events of the previous night replayed in my mind.
The flowers and candlelight.
The wine and venison.
We danced and whispered promises to each other.
And made countless love.
Kaelan really made me feel precious last night. It still felt surreal.
I must have slept so deeply. I hadn't slept so deeply in many weeks.
Neither have I taken so much wine.
My head throbbed and I felt sick to my stomach.
