CHAPTER 54: I'M YOUR SISTER
EVERLY:
I looked at Evan who stood in front of me and felt peaceful in my heart. My heart was joyous and I could feel how it pounded in my chest. I was happy, excited and nervous all at once. They were many, the emotions that ran through my veins.
As I continued to look at him, it was as if I was looking at the male version of me. He had my sharp jawline, and the same piercing blue eyes. Even his hair was the same shade of blond as mine.
He knitted in-between his brows, the way I always did when I was confused. Yet, he looked at me suspiciously while he folded his arms tightly across his chest.
“Hi, Evan,” I said sweetly, rising to great him.
He regarded my outstretched hand suspiciously and took it reluctantly in a handshake.
“Hi,” he said dryly.
