I wasn't fully sure what was going on. All I knew was that Asher and I were in trouble and it was now up to me to get us out of here alive. Asher had been stabbed, a wound that prove to be fatal if we didn't get him help soon. I know he had already given up on any chance of survival, but while he may have given up, I sure wouldn't. I would fight for the both of us.
My head was still pounding, and my reaction time wasn't as high as I would've liked it to be, but I couldn't allow myself to focus on any of that. Without knowing for sure, I could tell that I was alive all thanks to Ash. He had sacrificed himself to save me. So now it was my time to save him. I wouldn't let him go down without a fight.
