Javier left my office as my phone began to ring once more. I look at the caller ID and immediately frown as I see Ace's number appear. I roll my eyes and huff in annoyance before accepting his call.
"You better have good news." I state, getting straight to the point.
"Well, it's not all bad news. He remarks. I sigh into the phone mentally preparing myself for what I'm about to hear.
"I hope for your sake that you're not calling because she's hurt." I state matter-of-factly.
