Candice frantically stood up with her mother and walked beside Blake's. She clasped his arm, worry etched in her face. Jordan, on the other hand, panicked as the fight outside continued. Growling, snarling, and howling filled the once harmonious Blue Moon pack again. Beta Travis sent him to inform the Alpha about the attack.
"Stay here," Blake said with a hint of authority in his voice, facing her and removing her hand from his arm.
"Jordan, you will stay here with them," Blake ordered Jordan, who hastily nodded his head in response. Blake went out of the pack house, and Candice watched his broad retreating back.
