(Luciana POV)
I stopped frowning as I saw two familiar figures from the 2nd floor glass window.
"What is she doing with the Finance minister?" Melissa asked as I silently watched them.
Alison was looking nervous as the minister kept saying something. The whole scene feels suspicious, especially since both of them are talking in the corner away from the public pathway.
"The finance minister is a Nitherstone family from his mother's side. Maybe that is why" William said, making his wife roll his eyes.
"I doubt that. I know a scheming woman when I see one."
"Maybe you are over thinking love" he said, but then flinched and took a step back when she glared at him.
"Why are boys so blind? Do you think all girls are innocent when they act like one? It's mostly to seek attention" Mellissa
