An attack on the annual banquet is considered a failure of the ruler.
The above concept is filled with stupidity but it was a tragic belief among the four kingdoms. Blame the rulers for all the misfortune that happens so the council can easily try to impeach the king from the throne.
"We will investigate what happened. I am sorry for the trouble that was made" the king of the west once again apologized.
It was not an issue for all three of us rulers but that is not the matter for the kingdom. Failing to protect the other rulers during the stay shows a kingdom's weakness. It was a humiliation and we knew how much pressure he would be in. It will most probably be put on his mate's head since she is a rogue that is from a magic-involved pack.
