I stared at my mate for a few seconds before sighing. I could still feel the fear that I felt when I opened my eyes.
I didn't reply as I picked up my mate making her jump in surprise. I walked to the balcony and slowly placed her on the diwan that lay in the middle. I then sat right next to her, leaning into the sofa-bed comfortably before looking up at my mate. She was sitting straight and elegantly despite looking so tired.
"I don't know what happened but when I woke up, you were right next to me." I started looking up at the evening sky. "No matter how many times I called you, you wouldn’t wake up.
