At first, I thought I was dreaming. Everything around me was white — not bright or blinding, but soft, endless, and weightless. It was like being inside a cloud that went on forever. I couldn’t feel the ground under my feet. I couldn’t feel my heartbeat. For a moment, I wasn’t even sure if I was breathing. “Hello?” My voice sounded small, distant, like it didn’t belong to me. There was no echo. No sound at all. Just silence. I turned around slowly, but there was nothing — no trees, no wind, no sky. Just light. Everywhere. Then I saw her. A woman stood a few metres ahead of me, wearing a long white dress that shimmered faintly as she moved. Her hair was dark, falling in soft waves over her shoulders, and her eyes—her eyes were the same colour as mine. Warm brown, flecked with gold. M
