The next day.
Andrew woke up before 6 am. He immediately checked on Trish’s condition, and he was pleased by her stabilizing condition. He also woke up several times during night time to check on her, and each time Trish's condition was stable.
He kissed her forehead before he left her.
He gave firm instruction to the nurse on duty to update him immediately should any unexpected situation occur.
He decided to proceed to his office to shower and change his clothes and attend to other pressing matters. All his scheduled surgeries were assigned to a team arranged by Lena.
