Two days later…
“What time was the last IV for the sedation injected?” Andrew inquired to the nurse on duty.
“The last IV was given at midnight, Director,” the nurse replied at his inquiry.
Therefore she should be up at 12 noon at the earliest, but it’s already 5 pm, seventeen hours from sedation. It was still considered normal between 12- 24 hours; she could be transferred to a room, Andrew thought.
“Alright, prepare for her to be transferred to the suite.”
He checked the clinical board before he ordered the release of Trish in the ICU unit.
