Act 1: Episode 4 - The Dog Puppet

I opened my eyes staring at the white ceiling as tears drip on the sideways. My body was soaked with sweat and my throat feels so dry. I got up and remove my upper clothes, drank some water, and went to the bathroom. I wash my face on the basin and look at my reflection in the mirror. This man is all I know now, I have nothing else to remember but myself only.

*knock* *knock* *knock*

"Come in", I said.

Butler Ko opened the door and entered.

"Good morning, Master Shin. I hope you had a good night's sleep", he said.

"Tell me about it"

"I believe you had nightmares again since you were in a deep sleep and forgot to take your medicine", Butler Ko said out of concern.

"Yeah, Butler Ko, I shouldn't have drunk so much, the medicine is the only thing that can give a good rest, I went so many psychology consultations but it doesn't even help. All I can rely for now is the medicine"

"Do you want me to help you take your medicine if you got drunk again?"

"That's very kind of you, Butler Ko. Yes, please"

"As you wish, Master Shin", Butler Ko bowed his head.

"Tell Nam Jin Sang to take care of my schedules again today, the game mission failed. I am going to the lair later", I ordered..

"As you wish, Master Shin. Then, I shall prepare everything", Butler Ko bows his head and calp his hands..

I laid in my bed and checks my phone. I opened the shopping website to check the item I ordered. It says it will be delivered today.

"Butler Ko, the item I ordered will be sent here, please bring it to the lair after you receive it", I ordered.

"Understood, Master Shin"

I turned on the TV and the news program was on.

[News Reporter: Yesterday, a man in his 30's was hit by a car in Cheongdam. Mr. Lee was waiting for a taxi when a car suddenly ran into him. The driver said that a student suddenly ran in front of his car and tries to avoid the student but unfortunately the car turned where Mr. Lee was standing and ran into him. The student and the driver were held at the station. The student was given a detention for breaking the traffic law and causing mishaps to another person.]

[Student: I was in hurry to go to school since I was already late, I already have lots of penalty points and I can't be expelled. I am really sorry for the thing and causing an unfortunate event for Mr. Lee]

[News Reporter: The student was taken to a Juvenile Center and is now compromising his mistakes. Mr. Lee is now in a hospital as a result of a coma. Let us hope for Mr. Lee's recovery and for his family]

"Heh, I am sorry to say this Miss reporter but your false hope will shatter today, I ain't gonna let him pass, It's his fault for dragging the game for too long. I will make sure that toy will never wake up again", I smiled.

The servants came in bringing several outfits. The other brings my coffee and put it at the side table then bowed his head.

"Master Shin, everything is ready for what you needed for today", Butler Ko reminds.

"Alright, I'm going to take a shower"

"Do you want us to help you, Master Shin?"

"No, thank you just put the clothes on clothing my clothing room"

"Understood, Master Shin"

I went to the bathroom as the servants bowed their heads.

[Chan Yu POV]

*ring* *ring* *ring*

I woke up to the sound of my ringing phone. I immediately answered and I am still half-sleep.

"Hello?"

"Why aren't you answering!", I just heard a man shouting and it's like he was an angry lion. My sleepiness got immediately washed out.

"Oh sorry Jin, I just woke up, what's up?", I asked.

"What do you mean what's up?"

"Oh, are you coming here today?"

"What do you think? That dog is still alive!"

"Okay, got your order"

"I am almost there, prepare everything for me"

"Okay, okay got it", he hangs up the phone.

I stood up and stretched my body. I went outside my office and went to announce.

"Good morning everyone! Today is playday so please prepare everything before Jin comes so we can avoid his megaphone scolding. Alright, thank you!"

I went back to my office and took a shower.

[Butler Ko POV]

"Sir, a package of Master Shin has arrived", a servant said as he holds the little package.

"Thank you, I will be taking this one"

"Okay sir, do you need anything else?"

"Please prepare a car because I will be going Master Shin asked me to"

"Right away sir", he then walks out of the room.

I took out my phone and called Butler Kyon.

"Yes. Grand Butler Ko?", he answered.

"Butler Kyon, I will be going to the playhouse later, please tell Master Shin that I got his package and I am on my way to the lair"

"Understood, Butler Ko", I then hanged up and went outside to drive the car.

[Butler Kyon POV]

I went down from, Master Shin's office and waited for him to arrived. After some time, an alarm rang signaling that Master Shin is already here. I and the servants formed a proper line to welcome him. The gate opened and the car carrying Master Shin went inside. A servant opened the car's door and Master Shin went out.

"GOOD MORNING, MASTER SHIN, WELCOME BACK", I and the servants greeted him altogether.

Master Shin directly to the playhouse and we followed him. As we walk there, I want to pass the message Grand Butler Ko gave.

"Master Shin, the package you were expecting has arrived. Grand Butler Ko is on his way here"

"Really? Then please Butler Ko to speed up", Master Shin smiled happily like a little child. It's so rare to see him with a genuine smile.

"Right away, Master Shin"

I called a servant to gave an order. The servant hurriedly came to my side.

"Sir, what is your order", she asked.

"Call Grand Butler Ko that Master Shin wanted him to hurry so he can receive his package"

The servant bowed her head and left.

We finally arrived at the playhouse.

All the staff from the playhouse stood up and greeted him, "GOOD MORNING AND WELCOME BACK MASTER SHIN!"

I fix the chair where Master Shin will sit. Sir Chan Yu then went down and went by his side.

"Good Morning Jin", Chan Yu greeted him.

"Chan Yu, is everything ready?", Master Shin asked Sir Chan Yu.

"Yes, Jin everything is perfectly ready"

Master Shin stood up and shouted, "Then, are you all ready to play a bonus round!"

"HOOOH!", the staff shouted for a response.

"Then let's take down this Dog once again and let's make sure that this round will surely end his life"

"But Shin-", Chan Yu butts in.

"What?", Master Shin's mood suddenly changed

"Lee Chun Ho is already in a coma, are you playing a vegetable game?", Chan Yu asked.

"So you think, It won't be fun since he is not moving? Vegetable Game? That sounds good!", Master Shin smiles happily.

"So what's your plan?", Chan Yu replied.

"Since we already ended a game with a moving Lee Chun Ho and named him as Dog Puppet. Let's create a new bonus game for him but this time a braindead Lee Chun Ho and I will name him the Brocolli Puppet!", Master Shin was overwhelmed with excitement.

"Well, you said it. A new game is starting! Get ready to engage!" Chan Yu commanded.

[Puppet Number 6 "Braindead Lee Chun Ho"], Min Min announce.

"Please confirm the new game, Master Shin!", Min Min asked for Master Shin's response.

"Puppeteer ready! Go! Start!", Master Shin shouted the command.

"We are ready to engage!", Min Min shouted.

"HOOOOH!", the staff shouted.
