Act 2 : Episode 7 - The New Buddy

[SHIN JIN POV]

"Bring 28 to me and the rest of the particpants I called out", I ordered.

"Right away, Master Shin"

"No, wait. I will go to them just bring 28 and the other two there"

"Yes, Master Shin"

The bystander signalled the other bystander who were in the same ground as 28 and the othwr two. The look this way and nodded. They guide the three of them where 55 and 16 were waiting.

I took out my phone and called Chan, "Hey, Chan I am done, I have a fair share of fun today, I mean I had a lot of fun!",I said excitedly.

{That's great, so were you satisfied by the games they played}

"Of course, I was satisfied. Every game was jisy exciting, I wonder if I am also played with them, do you think I will win?", I asked him.

{Yes, of course no doubt about it. You are better than most of the people in the world. You are mostly a living God here as you what you have right now}

"What are you talking about? I am not a living God, I am just powerful human who controls everyone's life hahahha", I laughed like a villain would do.

{Haha, yes you are Shin, that's right rule the world!}, Chan said. {Who won by the way?}, he asked.

"Of course the one who I predicted. 28 won", I answered.

{Wow, she really is an extraordinary one, such a lose if she just works at a boring desk}

"I know right, I already planned her position so she can be useful to me"

{Position? Helpful? What do you mean?}, Chan was confused.

"They will be a tool for my next leveled up game, I will use them as a upper bystanders. Bystander who have extraordinary abilities. They way how they play the games are just intriguing. I was already expecting them to help me. Having them, I will be the unstoppable one"

{They?}, he wants to confirm.

"Yes, they. There are five of them and each has amazing capabalities", I explained.

{Oh, I see, I can't wait to meet these people}

"Yeah, I think one of them are better than you especially 28", I spewed sarcastically..

{That hurt my feelings Jin, I hate yoy I am hanging up}, he gor upset and it's funny.

"I am just kidding, you can't take a joke, of course you are the best and most trusted companion I have, what more can I ask?"

{You rely and trust me the most?}, he asked.

"Of course you are, you are my best buddy"

{Am I really?}

"I told you so, you are. Do not let me repeat it again"

{Ah, I see . . }, he had a long pause, {So how are gonna convince them to join you in your games?}, he asked.

"They will join"

{How are you even sure?}

"The most important material in the world is money. Money is the one who makes our world in order or so I say hierarchy. These peole are one of them, they are easily blinded by money", I said to him seriously.

{So you are going to convince them with money?}

"Yup, everyone have their own greed and they will follow what is good for them"

{Alright, I am going to hang up now. You better rest, it's already six in the morning}

"Later, after I talked to them"

{Do that later after you get some rest, let them rest too, Time can wait. You will eventuallyeet each other soon}, he insisted.

"Alright, I just noticed that I am tired. I think I'm gonna get a shower and rest"

{Okay, I will hang up. Take a rest okay?}

"Yeah, yeah, stop nagging now"

{Bye}, he hanged up the call.

I stoof up and stretched my arms, "Let them get some sleep and treat them like guest, give everything they need", I ordered.

"Yes, Master Shin, you can rest assure"

I took of my coat and the bystander took it, "Let's go to my room".

"As you wish, Master Shin, please follow me", I followed him.

"Take care Master Shin, have a good rest", the major staff said and then the staffs bowed their heads as I left the monitoring room.

"Did you have fun today, Mastwr Shin?", the bystander asked.

"Yeah, I got the fun I just needed", I replied.

I look into him and remembered him. He was also the one who drives me when I was playing a game with that dog Lee Chun Ho. I also remembered him from most of my games. I notice the pin on his chest and he has the elite badge. He was an Elite Bystander, he must be someone amazing.

"Hey, you are an elite bystander right?", I asked him because I got curious.

"Yes, Master Shin, I got the badge from Director Hong herself", he replied with respect as we still continued to walk to my room.

"Waah, you must be an extraordinary one, getting a badge from that pricky woman, I think I will call her sometime, its been awhile since I talked to her"

"Master Shin, we have arrived", he opened the door for me.

As I was about to enter I asked him, "What is your name?".

He pause for a moment, "I am very sorry Master Shin but I am not allowed to state my name", he bowed his head for being sorry.

"Even if I am the one who ask?"

"I am really sorry Master Shin but we are forbidden to do so, Im sorry for dissapointing you, please punish me", he kneeled and looked down for forgiveness.

"Oh, come one, get up. This is not an imperial dynasty and I not a King. So you beter get up, it's an order", I force him.

He stood up still lowering his head, "Thank you for understanding, Master Shin"

"Yeah, I know, I salute you for following the rules of a being a bystander tightly"

"Thank you Master Shin!", he said then bowed his head.

"Since, I still don't know your name, I guess I am just gonna picked one up for you"

"Do as yoy wish Master Shin, I am happy more than to"

"Hmm, since you look like an actor from an action movie, maybe Ill call you Mr. T, coz you are are Top Notch", gave him a nickname.

"I am very much honored to be given a nickname by you, Thank You Master Shin", he bowed his head.

"Oh come on, stop bowing we are already buddies", I raise my fist for him to bump it.

"I am truly sorry, Master Shim but I am not allowed to be your buddy", he bowed his head.

"So, you are rejecting me as a friend?", I gor annoyed.

"Sorry for dissappointing you!", he bowed his head again.

" I guess I have no choice but tp Director Honh about this, I could befriend a bystander whenever I want", I told him.

He was silent and still looking down below, "Oh, you are not insisting, so you do want to be friends with me", he didm't respond and I know he wants it too. I am Saint Shin Jin yah, everyone wants to be my friends.

I took out my phone and called Director Hong, {Master Shin, what brings you to call me early in the mornong}, she picked up and answered.

"As you can see, I have a request"

{What request do you want Master Shin, I will do anything for you}

"You see, there's a bystander I like and I want him to be my friend, he said that the rules is forbidding him to tell his name and are not allowed to make friends with me. Please do an exception for him coz I want him as my buddy", I requested.

{As you wish Master Shin, You can do that}

"Oh really? That's great then"

{But the only thing is not allowed is his name must not be leak or identified, I hope you understand that Master Shin}

"That's quite alright right? I already gave him a nicknmame, I just him as my buddy", I was satisfied.

{Then you have no problem to look on}

"Okay, bye bye Directoe Hong, Good Night!"

{Night? But it's Mor-}, I hanged up and look at him.

I raised my fist, "so we are now officialy friends, I dont want you to go bowing to me several time again, got that", I told him.

"Your wish is my command Master Shin", he raised his fist and we did a fistbump.

"So, I gotta go now, bye!", I went inside.

"Have a good rest Master Shin", he closed the door.

That was an exhausting experience, I hope it will be much more fun than thjs when my new game is going to start, I can't wait.

I went to take a shower, took my meds and went to sleep.
