I'm surrounded by darkness. Where am I? I feel a glow through my body and then there is light. I look in the distance and two wolf pups are walking toward me. Who are you little ones? I ask the question, but I know they won't answer. They begin to rub against my legs, and I feel a sense of peace. I sit and both pups rest their heads on my lap. I rub my hands through their fur and begin to hum. I hope that this is not the end for me. I don't want to leave Maverick and Maddox. I place my hand on my stomach or my pups. What if these are my pups? I can't leave them even though I don't want to leave my mates. If I am going to the Moon Goddess hopefully, they will find happiness. I see a shimmer in the distance as I start to cry for what I am losing. Both pups pick up
