I was trying to hide how frustrated I was, my body tense and throbbing, on edge from Tessa’s moans moments ago. Ray was threatening to jump out and eat whoever decided to disturb us, but I was trying to ignore him while calming myself down. It was hard to calm down the anger when I had an angry Alpha wolf screaming profanities in my mind. I took deep breaths, trying to appear normal as I heard Tessa regaining her breathing and trying to gather the papers at the same time.
