“What did they do to you? What do they have over you to keep you here?” I whispered as Paisley walked into the bedroom, a handful of clothes in her arms.
Paisley looked at me, her eyes bloodshot and filled with defeat as she sighed, opening her mouth before closing it again, shaking her head no and giving a soft shrug. “It’s bath time, Luna Tessa. We must take our turn in the bath, otherwise, we won’t get one today.” She said softly.
