Nate Pov The houses were made from trees, most likely all of the trees that were in this clearing had been cut down and made into lumber for the houses. The roofs were of wood as well, tied together nicely and covered with leaves and mud to keep out the draft and the rain. However, the more I studied the simple houses, the more I noticed the two that were made of stone. There was one that was closer than the other, and the closer one was smaller. The stone houses would have taken a lot longer to make than the wooden ones, and I wondered about them, studying them. All of the windows were covered with steel bars from what I could see, all of them having a crossed wire on them as well, as if placed there recently for bunnies. I wished it was easier to find her, that there was just one window
