I leave the note on the pillow next to Lexi as she lies sleeping curled up in my bed. She’s still wearing my shirt from the night before, her chestnut hair spread softly across my pillow. My mind drifts back to last night and images of her naked body flash before my eyes. Everything about the whole experience was perfect. Everything about it felt right.
