The first thing I do with my free time now that I’m back in Lacertia and have ended the rumors about my death is to move to a more private neighborhood. After Aaron’s unannounced visit when he used his Alpha voice to seduce me followed by the attempt on my life, it seems like a good time to change my home address.
I choose a house on fifteen acres in a gated neighborhood. Only a half-acre of the land boasts the home and manicured lawn. The backyard butts up against a forest that takes up the other fourteen and a half acres.
I chose it specifically with the intent to let Blaze out more often, now that I understand how happy it makes her to run around, even for an hour every day. That, and the dense forest will also provide cover for me to secretly practice shadow wielding in human form.
