The morning sun streamed gently through the nursery curtains, painting golden streaks across the polished floor as I stepped into Diane’s room. She was still curled up in her oversized, cloud pyjama,her dark curls a wild halo against her satin pillow. “Time to wake up, sleepyhead,” I whispered, brushing a knuckle across her hair. She groaned like a grumpy kitten. “Five more minutes…” I scooped her up, blanket and all, and carried her to the bathroom. The scent of strawberry foam and vanilla bath pearls filled the air as I lowered her into the oversized claw-foot tub. Rubber ducks around her, along with floating toy dolphins and a lavender bathroom air freshener. “Spa day again?” she teased, her sleepy eyes lighting up. “Every day is spa day for a little queen,” I replied, moving the s
