Spending the night with Kayla was never part of the plan. I had to stick to my promise, a promise that I made to the moon goddess, and, that night, I broke the rules. I was ashamed of myself, and I didn’t even want to look at her face. I hated that I led her own and made her believe that we could be more than friends.
