June 7, 2017. Wednesday 7:23 AM. Seth had opened his eyes and he saw his wife sleeping beside him. Her head was nestled into his right arm and chest.
Avi had just entered the room. He motioned his sister to stay quiet so as not to wake his wife. But Hannah did stir and when she opened her eyes, she saw her husband smiling back at him. Avi left them to give them privacy as she notified Seth's doctors that her brother had already gained consciousness.
While Seth and Hannah were left alone, they talked. She sat by his bedside to face him.
He said, carressing her left cheek with his right hand, “You cried a lot. Your eyes are puffy, honey.”
Hannah’s tears voluntarily fell. She was just so happy that Seth had finally woke up from the ordeal he had been through. “You’re awake now.”
