And like always, Kenneth's calming energy worked. Troy began to breathe calmly and normal. He was still angry at Gabriel, but it was not the building rage that will make him shift and want to destroy things.
"Are you okay?" Kenneth asked Troy as he took a step back,
"Yes, just hungry," Troy responded just as his stomach did a rumbling growl.
"Come on then," Kenneth said, starting for the dining room. At the door, Troy opened the door and held it open, allowing Kenneth and his mother to step inside. Then he turned to look at Gabriel who was still standing where he was, "Coming?"
"Yes," His voice croaked as he responded and cleared his throat, "Yes, Troy?"
