Erika's Point of View
After mom is done telling me her story, we sit in silence. They went through so many problems and yet they're together because they trusted each other and communicated well. Communication. That's what lacks in my relationship. We should really talk and try to understand each other. I need to stop running away and start explaining him everything.
A relationship takes patience and understanding. Both of us have to make an effort to understand and adjust with each other. I messed up big time in that part. He had been making efforts in the relationship while I've been busy running away and hurting him. I owe him a big apology for what I've done.
"You need to talk to him." My mom says breaking the silence, her eyes fixed on me. I nod at her.
