"Did I hear, mate?" A voice booms throughout the house and my heart races.
I am having second thoughts about going back to Walkers. I clutch Andrew's hand and feel him draw small, comforting circles at the back of my hand. Schrodinger meows furiously at us before running upstairs. A chuckle is heard resonating from the staircase before an old woman appears with Schrodinger purring in her arms.
"Andrew, you're back!" She says nearing my mate while I stand here wondering who she might me.
"And who's this beautiful young lady?" She says eying me from head to toe. I step closer to Andrew feeling nervous under her piercing eyes.
