Scarlet and I were at her hotel room having a girls' day together with far too many sweets and hip-expanding pastries, watching White Chicks with the Wayans brothers when Scarlet's phone rang.
Danielle’s name and picture flashed across the screen.
She raised her finger to her lips, instructing me to be quiet. We had no idea why Danielle was calling Scarlet, but it was most likely related to Sebastian and the race.
