“So, Nate told me that Sebastian and a few of his closest inner circle were meeting for some celebration of something. I’m not sure about the details, but who cares? They will need servers, and that is where we come in. So, are you in?”
A wicked smile flashed. “I'm in.”
I needed to hear and gather information when they were all together, without their speaking in riddles and skirting the details due to my known presence. Ivy has waited long enough, and we need to get her out of this mess quickly.
After all, she had a wedding coming up soon to Aiden Walker. Did I support this arranged affair? No. I didn’t think it was what Ivy wanted, but you play the cards you are dealt, and I suspected that that was precisely what Ivy was doing.
I hated Sebastian even more for it.
