With the recent medical tests still valid, I didn't need to worry about any further delays or exams. Which was a relief because my resolve on what I was about to do was starting to slip.
It is easy to think about doing it, but it is an entirely different mindset to actually go through with it. I don’t know how others do, but I could use some of that will.
With the procedure set for the morning, I returned to my room.
I spent my time on my laptop researching what I would need to know and any special requirements for following the procedure.
There didn’t need to be anything over the top for recovery. Watch my diet, wear comfortable clothing for the next few days, and use overnight pads for potential bleeding issues. Lots of rest is recommended for the day to follow.
