Lina’s POV
I’m sitting on the couch in Dolus’ house while he’s busy at work in the kitchen. He told me to just relax while he fixed up dinner.
“It’s ready!” Dolus yells out in a sing-songy tone. I get up and walk into the kitchen and sit down in front the empty place setting at the counter. “May I present.. your dinner.” Dolus says placing a plate in front of me. It’s a big slice of hearty bread, toasted and covered with soft white cheese, and topped with prosciutto and sliced peaches. It looks delicious. I pick it up and take a bite. It’s amazing. I would’ve never thought to make this but everything goes together so nicely.
“I call it ‘PP toast’!” Dolus says boastfully. I laugh with my mouth full of food, and almost spit it out, but I get myself together and manage to swallow.
