Chapter 18

-Gavin P.O.V-

The same day that Xavier met his mate…

“Alright, son I think that is it for this little meeting because soon I will stepping away completely so you can have this all to yourself.” My father says to me.

“That sounds good, dad. But honestly I don’t know if I am ready for you to leave just yet.” I tell him making him snap his head up to me.

“What do you mean, son?” He quickly asks me.

“I like having this father/son business thing. I mean I kind of stuck to mom when I was growing up, so I like that I am getting to spend time with you and stuff.” I admit to my father.

To say my father is shocked is an understatement because I am not good at expressing my feelings. Plus, I have always been with mom growing up because I just didn’t really like my dad at the time. There was no reason why…it was just my fault. We were too alike, and I didn’t know how to handle that and now that I am older and starting this business, I just want to continue building our father/son business.

My father stands up and walks over to me. He pulls me up by my arm and pulls me into a hug. “I will stay for as long as you would like me to son.” I hug him back. We pull apart and he smiles before he walks out of my office. I sit back into my chair and get back to my work. It is about 8ish in the morning and I always meet with my father in the morning to go over what needs to be done for the day. We do meetings together since he owns part of the business and I don’t want for him to leave it all to me yet. I like having him around and I like making him proud. Now back to business, I have an interview today with a demon girl who is interviewing to be my secretary. I had one, but I had to fire her because she was trying to get me to f**k her and I don’t f**k wh**es. I have better things to do with my time. I am once again thrown out of my thoughts when I hear a knock on my office door.

“Come in.” I say kind of harshly not meaning to.

This girl walks in and my breath is taken away from how stunning she looks. My heart is beating fast and something inside of me is feeling a pull to her. I meet her eyes and I see she feels it too. I stand up and walk over to her and she ends up backing up in my office door. I stand 10 feet away from her and I can hear her heartbeat.

“Well, you must be here for the interview.” She looked at me wide-eyed and then I heard her voice.

“Yes, I am. My name is Lucy.”

I lost control and walked up to her. I pressed my body against hers and put my hands on either side of her head. I leaned down to where I brushed my lips against hers making her whimper. I kissed the side of her mouth and then kissed my way to her ear, very light kisses. Her breathing was becoming very heavy.

“Hello, fated one.” I whispered in her ear. She moaned from hearing how deep my voice was.

“I never thought I would be blessed with a fated one or a mate as you call them.” She whispered out. I pulled away and looked her in the eyes. I kept my hands by her head still.

“What do you mean?” I asked her wondering what she meant.

“I…I am not pure. It is not by my choice…I am sorry.” She said as she lowered her head.

I put my fingers under to chin and gripped it. I made her look me in the eyes by using my grip on her chin. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and I cupped her cheek which caused her to lean into it.

“You will tell me later why it was not done by your choice, but honestly I don’t care. I just want you and only you. You are my fated one and I am going to treat you how you should be treated, okay?” I tell her softly.

She didn’t answer me as she grabbed the back of my neck and brought my lips to hers. One of my hands went to her hair and gripped it while my other hand went around her waist. I pulled her into my chest even closer and tighter while she wrapped her hands around my neck. I pulled her hair lightly causing her to moan into the kiss making me smile. I let go of her hair and then brought both of my hands down the back of her thighs and picked her up. She wrapped her legs around my waist while I walked her over to the sofa in my office.

I laid her down and came back on top of her and shoved my tongue in her mouth. She wrapped one of her legs around my waist and pushed me down to where I grinded on her. I moaned in her mouth while she moaned as well. I pulled away from her lips causing her to whimper.

“If you keep causing me to grind on you then I will take you right here and right now. You are driving me crazy and you scent is f**king amazing.” I moan out. She looks me in my eyes and her eyes were black with desire.

“Take me wherever you want because I will always be yours.” I lost it.

I got up and walked over to my desk causing to ask me what I was doing. I didn’t answer as I pressed a button and a secret door opened where I kept a small bedroom with a bathroom. Sometimes I spent the night here on the weekends because I would end up staying late. I walked back over to her and pulled her up.

“You have a secret room?” She asks me.

“Yes, sometimes I spend the night at work when I stay too late on Fridays. But Fridays only.” I tell her.

“Why only Fridays?” She asks me as we enter the small room. She sits on the bed and looks up at me.

“I take my sister to school during the week, so I always make sure that I am there in the morning to take her to go to school.” I tell her making her nod at what I said. “Do you know who my parents are?” I ask her.

“Yes, I know who your parents are. Everyone who is a half-breed or pure demon knows who the king and queen are.” She said chuckling.

I walk towards her and undo my tie. I drop my suit jacket on the floor and then I undress her. Once she is completely naked, I make her lay on the bed. I then strip down naked as well. I come down on top of her making her moan out and I kiss her hard and deep. She wraps her legs and around my hips and pushes me down to where my c**k rubs against her box. I moan and pull away from the kiss.

“I wanted to take it slow with you, love.”

I wash her with my body wash and stuff and then I help her out of the bathroom and wrap a towel around her. I dry her off then dress her back in her clothes. I then dry myself and put my clothes back on. She is laying on the bed about to fall asleep. I walk over and kiss her temple.

“Rest here and when you wake up, I will be in the office. By the way you have the job.” She chuckles at what I say and then she crashes. I walk back to my desk and smile knowing that I finally have a mate to love. I want what my parents have and I am finally getting a chance to get it.
