The bonfire was dying down as pack members were wanting to go home and rest after the day we had. Asmodeus and I were cleaning up as other pack members were helping along with Mia, Xavier, and Ezekiel. Truthfully Xavier needed to take his wife home along with their son. I look at Xavier and he can feel me staring so he looks up.
“You need to go home. You have a son that needs to be in bed along with your wife. So, go.” I tell him softly.
My son smiles at me and comes around to hug me. “Thanks mom.” He whispers.
I scoff as I playfully hit his chest. “Oh stop. You don’t need to thank me.” I tell him.
