"This one?" I asked Melissa as soon as I got out of the car.
"Yes. What's wrong with this?" She asks me back.
I look at her and then at the restaurant again. My past memories are coming rushing back. Mom and dad promised me that my graduation dinner was happening here. But then they ditched it because they were busy (Heart Of Ice-Prologue)
I shake my head as I follow Melissa and Devon. But Devon gives me a way so I am the one walking first, followed by Devon. And Melissa with Nyle at the back. If anyone saw us they would be thinking that Devon and I are a couple.
"Reservation under the name Melissa?" I inquired at the reception and they did lead us to a table of four. Just by the huge glass wall. The same table I sat on a year and half ago.
