-Aria- I sat in the backseat, my body trembling not just from the cold but from the weight of what had just happened. My dress clung to me, heavy and damp, and I couldn’t shake the feeling of eyes piercing through me, their laughter echoing in my ears. Sean glanced over, his brow furrowed with concern. “Hey, let me take care of you,” he said softly. He reached across the seat, pulling out his jacket and wrapping it around my shoulders. The fabric enveloped me, warm and comforting, a stark contrast to the chill that had seeped into my bones. “Thank you,” I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper. He smiled, but it didn’t reach his eyes; they were clouded with worry, and the whole drive back home we spent in silence. Without a word, he stepped out of the car and came around to my side.
