“He said he will be a witness?” Dad asked me and I nodded.
“Well, the video will help as supporting evidence, but we need something more,” I said.
“Well then, who do you think will lead us to concrete evidence?” Dad asked and I smiled.
“That’s the mystery of all this, who will lead to the Callas’s doom?” I asked myself.
“As for Papa Joe, will you be okay? He was more family to you than I am,” Dad said.
I shook my head and held his hand.
“No one is more family to me than you.
I know I told all those things to Papa Joe, but I just wanted to touch his heart somehow,” I said.
“You are my family and no one else: It doesn’t take years to form certain bonds, Dad,” I said, and he smiled.
