Sucking up to Brenden for a good cup of coffee seemed wrong. Not completely since she was close to doing anything for a cup. But she was supposed to be ignoring him.
He had messaged her again the night before, just to ensure she was still ignoring him. She did ignore him in response and then he said goodnight. That made her think about the night he tucked her into bed and then suddenly, she was having an awful time going to sleep.
It was his fault. He owed her coffee.
She passed her morning medications and opened all her notes before she texted him. She would be taking a hit on her pride, but she would do anything for coffee at that moment.
